OUR 5 STEP EXTRACTION AND RESTORATION PROCESS:

Our water damage restoration process begins with a thorough inspection of your property, including a damage assessment. Once we determine the extent of the damage, we are able to develop an appropriate plan of action.

  • Find the source of water and stop it.
  • Check for and identify contaminated water.
  • Determine the extent of the water damage.
Our highly trained experts begin the water extraction process by using powerful pumps and truck-mounted vacuum units to quickly remove the largest volume of water in order to help reduce the drying time and prevent mold and secondary water damage.

  • Inspect carpet, carpet pad, and the subfloor.
  • Use moisture detectors, hygrometers, and other meters measure the extent of moisture saturation.
  • Use infrared cameras to identify “hidden” water behind walls and ceilings.
  • If necessary, remove any material.
We will manipulate temperature and relative humidity using specialized equipment, including industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to remove the remaining moisture.  We will carefully monitor the progress using moisture meters until the materials return to safe levels.
Any affected surfaces, including the structure and any furniture, will be inspected in order to determine whether they can be restored.  It is likely that some of the surfaces will need professional cleaning treatments so that they can be sanitized and eliminate any odors.  We use industrial air scrubbers and fogging equipment along with antimicrobial, antibacterial, or disinfectant treatments to clean your property.

We also remove and dispose of damaged materials.

Restoring your home or business to its pre-water damage condition is the final step in the process.  Hopefully, the restoration process only involves minor repairs, such as replacing drywall and installing new carpet, but it may entail major repairs, such as the reconstruction of various areas.  Our primary concern is getting you back to business as usual without unnecessary expenses.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Water extraction is the process of removing not just the water that is visible, but all of the water that has already soaked into the wood, walls, floors, and surrounding materials.
The water extraction process begins with powerful pumps and truck-mounted vacuum units to quickly remove standing water from all affected areas. Dehumidifiers and air movers are left in place to address remaining moisture.
There are many variables that determine the drying time which include location, duration, and supply of water, the types of building components, the weather соnditiоnѕ and hоw ԛuiсklу еmеrgеnсу services bеgin. Wе  determine when the drying procedure is completed through consistent monitoring and evaluation.
Cleaning up a small spill in the center of the floor should be okay. However, if water has saturated floors, baseboards, or drywall, it might appear to be dry and damage free. It is what you cannot see going on behind the wall or under the floors that become an issue. These deep cavities end up being the perfect habitat for fungi and bacteria to breed.
Yes. There are three categories of water with regard to water damage:

  •  Clean Water – water from a broken appliance or overflowing sink that does not pose any threat to humans.
  •  Gray Water – water which is contaminated (such as from broken toilets), contains microorganisms and poses a possible threat to humans if ingested.
  •  Black Water – water which is unsanitary (such as sewage), contains bacteria and other organisms that cause sickness in humans.
Mold can grow immediately in most cases but often takes about 24 – 48 hours to develop. It is standard in the water damage industry to resolve the problem within 48 hours or else there will be a high potential for mold growth which can cause extra damage and costs.
